I’ve been a bit missing around our house for at least 4 years. I mean I did the minimal to keep it all up but lets face it my home came last. Greg stepped up to the plate quickly when he realized this Blue Happy thing was taking on a life of it’s on. He took over most of the house work and did a really good job but it’s time for me to take over. He has kept things going and clean but no home improvements have been done. I have a list as long as me. It’s over whelming to look at and lets not talk about things that have gotten unorganized that list is longggg.
To start this first full week of 100% Blue Happy I needed to plunge into something creative. I was reminded why I love doing this. A simple little jewelry box dropped off at a thrift store can become restored and new with an hour and a bit of paint. Today I found myself loving the small redo’s. They were quick and easy with instant gratification.
You can’t work in disorganization or I can’t. I have to organize along with keeping up with filling all 5 stores. Trust me I’m not complaining this is the best life I could be living. It’s just what I wanted and I know this is my journeys path. First up is gonna be our shop. Oh my goodness what a mess. There is all kinds of things that have been pushed in this little shop. I’ve been working out of my studio and my garage. Every time I need one of the big tools I had to dig it out of this mess of a shop. It has to be nothing but a workshop with all my tools in place. I don’t want to waste time looking for just that right tool. If it’s in its place then work happens and gets done.
The opening of the new Blue Happy inside Rustic Warehouse was a great success. We will be adding more items and doing a little bit of decorating to make the booth warmer. I’m excited for all the places Blue Happy is sharing creative new pieces. This Saturday is the sidewalk sale at Doc’s and I’ve heard it’s gonna be sun shine over head. Lots of venders with lots of great treasures to pick from. Come by to see us hours are 10-6.
