Blue Happy Living

Hi, friends! I am Heather, the daughter/tech guru/social media coach/marketing coordinator you’ve heard so much about over the years. Well, I’m finally helping in a more official capacity instead of just in the frantic moment when she calls me at 9 pm because a picture is sideways on her blog. (Ha, love ya, mom!) Before I tell you more about that, let me tell you a little more about myself.

Check out my sweet family! This picture is about 9 months old, but it’s one of my favorites. Clint and I have been married almost 8 years now, Ethan is our super smart oldest, and Scarlett is our strong-willed toddler. I currently stay at home with my children and pursue my passions in the stolen moments of each day. I love social media marketing, writing, and essential oils. If I have some free time, I like to read into the wee hours of the morning or binge on Netflix.

I feel so blessed to have watched Blue Happy Living grow from a spark in my mom’s eye to the thriving business with infinite possibilities it is today. Can I just brag on her for a minute here? Cheering her on has been easy because she never gives up, never stops dreaming, and never lets self-doubt hold her back. It’s truly been inspirational to watch her pray about an idea, speak it out loud, then just…make it happen. If you know the stories behind the madness, it’s so easy to see God’s fingerprints in it. He is shaping her future and y’all it’s gonna be good!

So what’s next for Blue Happy Living? Well, to be honest, I can’t tell you everything just yet. But here’s some of what I’ll be working on:

• Organizing the blog posts – I want it to be easy for the reader to find the inspiration they are looking for!
• Making pretty graphics for easy sharing on social media sites
• Growing the Blue Happy Living community on our Facebook, Instagram, and (soon) Pinterest
• Creating a newsletter with a recap of recent blog posts and special announcements like sales and events at the stores
• Updating the website so it runs smoothly
• Helping her create NEW CONTENT (like videos!!!) to help you create a life you love

As the business expands, I fully expect my responsibilities to grow as well. I believe in her vision, so I’m in it for the long haul! I want to help remove some of the admin tasks off of her plate so that she can focus more on designing furniture and home decor. She needs to keep those stores stocked!
