Years ago in Waco I met this amazing lady Named Jill. She is the owner of my very favorite store in Waco called the Junky Monkey. Jill is a brilliant business women. She is sharp and well skilled in what she does and who she partners with. I’m so excited that she has invited me to be one of the artist that will show in her newest business adventure. The new store will be called BOHO BUFFALO. Jill has a partner Carla that will share in the vision of this new store. It’s just down the road from Magnolia Table at 926 LaSalle Avenue, Waco!
I’m so excited to have Blue Happy Living items in the show room of this new adventure. Not only will this new store show many great items like furniture and home decor they will also have venders of all kinds selling their goods. It will be a store filled with so many treasure for you to enjoy. I will not have a booth in this store. My items will be mixed on the show floor so you will have to ask or go on a hunt to find my tags. I love a good treasure hunt.
I’m steady working on the pieces for my collection. It will be filled with color and style like nothing else I’ve ever done. I love doing piece that I can allow my creativity to flow. Being open to the process lets each piece be different. Just this past week a friend of mine found this beautiful but outdated chair. She grabbed it up and put it on my front porch. I was so excited because I immediately had a vision for BoHo Buffalo. The normal thing to do would be sand it back and paint it in a neutral color like off white or gray. Clearly that isn’t the direction I went. This is the easiest way to add that pop of color to your home without making a big commitment. What is that one color that you want to have around you all the time. What is that color that makes you happy or comfortable. It doesn’t have to take over your home or even a room. Simple add it to a place that you spend a lot of time in. A pop of color or shades white can make your home a place you love to be in. Make your home a place you want to be in but most of all make your home a place of refuge.
