Remember when you were little and your elders told you “if you can’t say anything nice then don’t saying anything at all”? Well tonight I’m gonna mind that and keep my mouth shut, but with a twist mind you.
The twist being me saying a few things. Blue Happy living was brought about by love. My love for restoring things people give up on and restoring what I had given up on, myself. The blog was a gift from my daughter Heather on my 50th birthday because she felt I had something to share with the world. I never imagined in my life that it would become what it is today and where it’s going in the near future. Blue Happy Living was never thought of as a chance I would take. It was always a path I would travel. This path has become a journey of ups and downs, good and bad but always a ride of a life time. It has always been the idea to make people understand that you have all you need for the most right in front of you. If you stir your heart, who you are will rise to the top. I have discovered I’m so much more than I thought I was. I’m so much more than I ever thought I could be. I have discovered I’m more than I see in the mirror. I’m certainly more than a number on a scale or a number on a tag. When it was time to dig my feet in and be who I was meant to be, I did. I stood in some of the most difficult times and crawled in some of my weakest times. Oh the days that my faith was the hook holding me above the choppy waters of life. That hook of faith assured me I was loved and never alone.
With that said it’s all good and tomorrow is another day. Waco bound with lot’s of goodies for Cameron Trading Company. I’ll post pictures of my trip to Waco and maybe a few shots of the building that will house BoHo Buffalo. Opening date is August 10th!! I can’t wait until you see all the goodies I’ve been working on for the new store.
