I love love love that one thing that makes a difference in your home, decorating or life in general. In a world of bigger is better I’m the less is more person. Spending money on new and shinny isn’t always the best bang for your buck. I think with today’s redo’s I have proved my point on that. I took thrift store, garage sale and auction finds and turned them into usable home decor. What once was outdated and has been is now repurposed and ready for that shabby chic, farmhouse and vintage feel.
Tonight I’m just gonna let the photo speak for Blue Happy Living. I’m mean really some of these items most people wouldn’t give a second look. All of these items are loaded in my truck Waco bound on Tuesday morning. If you visit Waco this summer check out my store space at Cameron Trading Company 618 Austin Ave. Lots of great shopping on that street and good food to eat. It’s only a short walk from the Silo’s.

It took very little time and money to make these items worthy of using them once again in a home decor. My best advice is you have all you need right in your own home. Most of us even have left over paint from other projects. Pick something small and have some fun. Get the family involved in repainting the patio furniture or why not paint the TV entertainment center a new color. Whatever you decide to do keep moving forward with a Blue Happy smile. Message me if you need help walking through it all, I’m always here to answer questions.
