So over whelmed with all the travels today, but a good overwhelmed. Greg is trying his best to find the deepest parts of Texas. We started in Fredericksburg, then Comfort on to Kerrville. My truck is loaded and I’ve not even touched the $100 mark yet. Give me time Greg just keep strapping it higher.
I have found a beautiful old desk that will soon be a gorgeous vanity. I got bits, pieces and bobbles to make an industrial style lamps. Smalls are stacked high in the back seat along with so many wood goodies. A few things have caused Greg to look at me with side eyes. I don’t care because when I look at something and I instantly get a creative idea, it’s mine. We went all day, shopped, ate good food, laughed and now it’s late. Okay it’s 8:30 but we are tired and ready for bed. Tomorrow is another day of junking and I’m so ready. I can’t wait to get all of these treasures back home and Blue Happy them.
I took pictures of some of the beautiful pieces I found in a few fancy shops. These pieces were already done and WOW the prices were sky high. I do appreciate someone’s hard work but I just want to do pieces that everyone can afford. I hope you can enjoy the photos from today. Tomorrow I’ll blog about more travels as we turn the Blue Happy Truck around and head back in the direction of Dallas.
This time together had been so needed. I didn’t realize how much it was needed until we were in the mist of it. He does try to make me so Blue Happy.
