Oh my goodness people have started rumors about Blue Happy over the title of my last two blogs. Reading the title and deciding what it’s about is a dangerous thing. You might get the wrong impressions and then look pretty silly telling others wrong information.
I’m NOT shutting Blue Happy Living blog down. The blog was about me and my over doing it everyday, day in and day out. I keep a pace that is most of the time out of control and over doing it is an understatement. I love to be busy, I love working and I don’t like down time. Life is so precious and short and I don’t want to waste a minute of it. I do realize that I need rest and time with those I love but I don’t want to waste my time just sitting. I’m not a TV watcher, I couldn’t tell you one show that is popular right now. Well I do know all the shows on HGTV because I keep that running just for the sound. Working on things to keep my life calm is a work in progress, but I’m gonna do it. Funny how these rumors blew up in just a few hours. It’s was a rumor.
When I got home from my doctor appointment and having my hair done I worked on small projects for the sidewalk sale. I had this little box that has been in storage. I bought it at an estate sale months ago. It is so cute and the built-in frame makes it easy to personalize it. I removed the hardware and used Valspar project spray paint. After it dried I sanded the entire box. I reattached the hardware and replaced the paper tags in the front of the hardware. You could use this little box in any room but my favorite place would be in the office or family work table. It could also be used as prize boxes for the kiddo’s. Put their name on a drawer and leave them a special prize for after school. So many ways to use it and it adds decorative organizing.
The second small I did I forgot to take before pics but it’s pretty simple and you can imagine the before color bronze. Again I used Valspar project spray paint in a medium gray. I didn’t sand the edges but I did dust the edges with gold paint along with the numbers. So great at the back door, kitchen, office or bathroom for those stacks of magazines.
I’m having a blast doing these projects and getting ready for the sidewalk sale on Saturday. I hope you can come out and see all that I have on show. On Friday more things to show you and it’s the weekend so go make Blue Happy memories.
