Do you have that list of people to buy for but have no idea what to get them. We all have those people on our shopping list that have just about everything. If they don’t, they just go buy it when they want it. I find myself this year wanting to do something different. Instead of just going to the regular stores and buying a shirt, sweat shirt or electronics I wanna really give them something special.
I’m shopping at as many specialty shops as I can. I’m really thinking about that person and find something they will really like. When they open their gift I want them to know that I shopped for them. As you all know I have a booth at Doc Holliday’s Emporium 113 S Birmingham Wylie. I love this specialty store it is over filled with items that are special gifts to give. It really is a store that has something for everyone on your shopping list. I went through the store this past weekend and took pictures of many of the booths. I don’t have enough room on my blog to show you all of it but I do want to share as many pictures as I can with you.
The first booth you need to shop is full of children’s clothing and is now 40% off. I’ve already hit this booth and I’m going back for a few more things. After all I have one granddaughter and one on the way so why not. The clothing is absolutely the cutest and the prices are great!
There are booths with signs, wine glasses with quotes, Christmas items, candles & oils, home decor and so much more. The prices are reasonable in all the booths with items you will not find in the big box stores.
I love the furniture by my friend Joyce. She has that shabby chic farmhouse look to all her items. It’s easy to shop her items they are all in the front of the store along the front wall. One of my favorite pieces she has is this chair bench. So farmhouse and has shabby chic written all over it.
Doc has its own line of food items. These are great for last-minute gift grabs. These items are on display right by the register at the front. It’s a quick and easy gift to buy and give. So load up those gift bags with these yummy gifts.
My point is you don’t have to spend much to buy a nice and out of the ordinary gift. Don’t be that person that gives a flannel shirt or gift card because you have run out of idea’s. Doc Holliday’s Emporium is full of great and special gifts that will make you very popular come Christmas morning. There are different sales being offered daily until Christmas. Check them out on Facebook or stop by and shop. It’s Monday and you know how I feel about that, it’s the best day of the week. So put on your happy face and make some memories this week. Make it a Blue Happy time of your life while you shop for something special.
