This time of year is so full of rush rush rush. STOP now and take the time to see what is going on around you with your family and friends. Plan time together make and start a new tradition for this holiday time of year. Here are a few of the things that I wanna start.
- Coffee and Candy Hit and Run: So send out an invite to all your Facebook, Instagram or how ever you can reach as many friends as possible. The invite should read like this…..
- Go to any place that sale Christmas glass ball ornaments. Hobby Lobby, Michael or even Walmart get some acrylic paint. You can use this small bottles that are sold everywhere. Get brushes for the number of members of your family or friends you will invite to an ornament painting party. You can get ideas off Pinterest or make up ideas of your own just make sure that the ideas work with all ages that will work on them. These ornaments are easy fun and you can do this at anytime during the holidays. We always have ornaments out for our guest on Christmas eve. It’s a fun gift for them to take home at the end of the night. This years ornament making is gonna be so much fun and a prize to the one who makes it the fastest and complete. I can’t wait!
- Ugly Sweater & Blind Fold Night: Pick a night after Christmas to have friends and family over. That way all the Christmas parties are over and most can relax more. Have them dress festive and the one that does it the best or worst some would say wins a prize. Have them bring the funniest, lame or OmGosh I can’t believe I got this gift for an exchange. Put all the gifts on a table. Now bring out the blind fold. Keep the gifts in a separate room, one by one bind fold them and take them into the room to pick a gift off the table. They can not exchange or take a gift from anyone else. You get what you get and don’t through a fit. This is a good way to have a good laugh and get rid of things you got your don’t really need or want. Sorry no pics it’s gonna be a new tradition.
It’s all about the fun and laughter with those you love. I love the Coffee and Candy Hit and Run its a cheap way to give a little something to those you love and see people you might not have time to go see during the holiday. I’m gonna do this one for sure very soon. I love the holiday time and the feeling of promise and hope that it provides. Make sure you reach out to someone or a charity to make someone else Christmas full of hope and love. Don’t forget to take photo’s and have a Blue Happy holiday!
