I get many questions about several of my blogs I thought hump day was a great day to revisit those blogs and give an update. The blog about my weight loss seem to generate the most questions. At this point in the after picture I had lost 100 lbs plus. I was 2 years out from my surgery and working out like a crazy person. I felt so much better I was off all meds and was headed in the right direction. UPDATE: I’m still working out like a crazy person and I’m just about to reach my goal weight. It is still hard I’m not gonna lie going to the gym before the sun comes up 5 days a week is tough. Three days a week I go back at night for round 2 of working out. I eat as clean as possible and make sure I get protein, protein and more protein. I’m happy but there is still the final leg of this journey. This summer I’m gonna put a period at the end of this very long sentence. I’ll share that in a July blog and it is gonna be a WOW blog to read.
When I blogged about the redo of my kitchen the numbers of how many people read the blog was fantastic. My kitchen is my favorite room in my house that we have redone. I love to wake up early and be in there with the house quiet and the sun light streaming through my skylight. For me its a great place to ready myself for the day. My days are long most of the time from 4am to 9pm so having a place to have quiet time, prayer and focus is important. UPDATE: The kitchen is still my quiet place and I haven’t really added anything new but Greg did he added a wine frig to house all those bottles of wine from his Nappa Valley trip. He even joined a wine club and the wine just keeps on coming.
I’ve redone many pieces of furniture over the years and so many have been posted on this blog. The one piece that received the most attention was DRUM ROLL PLEASE! Yes the little patio table was a BIG hit with all the blog readers. UPDATE: We still have it on the patio and don’t think I will be changing it anytime soon. It is the perfect end table to sit a nice cold drink on.
I couldn’t do an update blog without giving an up date on my little studio. It was one of the most amazing things my husband has ever given me. It is truly my space to create. Blue Happy Living is coming alive within this little studio and is growing by leaps and bounds everyday. Every wall of this studio is made from recycled supplies like pallets and flooring. The furnishings are also recycled with new purpose. I love to be in this space and I love my husband for building it for me. There is nothing sadder than an artist with no place to create. UPDATE: The only update is that I’m working more because I have a place to create my art and work on Blue Happy Living. I’ve added a few organizational items just so I work smarter not harder. A few baskets and selves here and there make it all work better. My daughter is moving in the fall and she is giving me a farm table and I will replace the folding work table with the farm table. I’m so excited it is so shabby chic what a great gift from her. Thanks Heather!
I’m looking so forward to the future and blogging more. I enjoy sharing with all of you what project I’m working on, what my thoughts are and what is going on with Blue Happy Living. I hope that your hump day is Blue Happy and full of dreams!!
