I love to find those little shops that are in my area to shop at. Once I find a favorite you will find me shopping and looking for those special decorating items on a regular basis. This past week I found myself in the Rockwall Texas I’m sure I’ve been there at least 5 times in two weeks. It’s a big city but has a small town feel around the square with shops and restaurants to fit anyones taste and style.
There is one shop particular that I have found so many items for my home. My love affair with this store started last saturday when thy announced on Facebook a huge sale. My daughter called me and said Kim is having a sale you wanna go. I had to tell her I was already in the truck and headed that way. If she could be ready in just a few I would pick her up. I’ve never seen her get dressed so fast. The store was crowded and full of people. I started at the back door and grazed over the items from one side of the store to the other. Then I started back over to really look at what I wanted to buy. She has so any things from old shabby chic to new and whats in for your home. I love her clothing mostly new items but some vintage flannels. So many things caught my eye that I found myself trying to focus and not get distracted by everything.
I treated my daughter to a few things for her new home. She got the beautiful dish towels in white and burlap with the letter R on them. These are going to be such a nice touch to her home, they are classic but useable. She found a beautiful white platter with gold trim and two vintage divided plates for Ethan to eat from. She picked candles, dishes and even a top that she wore Monday to school. I on the other hand went a bit bigger and smaller. I purchased some chalk paint and stain for redoing furniture. The big purchase of the day was a set of lockers that are blue and perfect. I will be showing those in a few weeks when I reveal my patio redo for the summer. I’ve made so many changes to the patio it’s like a new room this year.
Today I went back to pick up the locker and found one more item I’ll be going back this weekend. I had to measure and make sure it was the right piece for the space I have. While I was there I picked up a new shirt and a sign for my kitchen. I found out she is continuing her sale this weekend on Saturday only. So the entire store is 50% off! WOW this is a deal she has so many cool items it is hard to pick from when you get there. This Store is Kim Hoegger HOME 106 Goliad St. Rockwall Texas.
Kim is a great designer as well. She recently announced her own line of fabrics at the Dallas Market. It was a great success and looks like she is well on her way with another great success story. Go shop the store and get some great items saturday at great price.
