I’m so ready for the freshness of the new year. It’s the start of a new semester and the beginning of many new adventures. I can’t wait to get started. How many years have come and gone that I made plans and never finished them or even got it started. As each of those years would come to an end I would feel so much disappointment. Well not this year.
I’m ending 2015 feeling accomplished. I didn’t hit everything on the head but I got more than half my plans off the ground. Those things I didn’t finish or get started I’m okay with it. I know that those plans just keep moving forward. I don’t let those plans just fade with 2015. I’m going to celebrate them as they move forward to 2016. We should all be thankful for the year we had. I know that it’s hard when you had a year full of disappointments, job loss, illness, divorce and so many more let downs. There is a reason you went through these things. Today the first day of the new year is a promise of life. There is a reason for the past to learn so the future is better.
Today is like turning the page to the next chapter. What will happen in this chapter, who will be the characters and what roles will they play in your life. Will there be great adventures or will you fulfill a dream. Who knows that’s the great thing about a new year it’s full of surprises. I’m very excited about my new year. I’m so thankful God has blessed me with more time to live life. I truly do love life and I plan to live it to the fullest in 2016. I love my family, friends and fur babies. I want to share life with them and soak up as much time with them as possible. I know the year will not be perfect because life isn’t perfect. The imperfections are what makes us grow and learn.
I’m so excited to say that projects will be back next week. I will share with you in the next 2 weeks my finally finish studio space and my master bed room. I have been working hard on a few new plans for Blue Happy Living and can’t wait to be able to share those with you. I will also show you my messy out of control laundry room and how I organized it. Really I need to be honest it’s not a room its a pass way to the garage. I decided to love it not hate it and that is when the magic happened, I guess you could say I learned to blossom where my laundry was planted. So many new things in the works here at Blue Happy Living and so much life to be lived.
Open your heart and eyes to the possibilities of this new Blue Happy New Year.
