If you have watched the news you have seen that Texas took a hard hit from tornados. My blog today was going to be a new project but I felt the need to stop and set that aside.
We left for Arkansas on Saturday morning a little rain but not much. Our son called us around 4:30 letting us know the tornado sirens were going off. He lives 5 minutes from our house. After it all settled, our home is safe as much as our neighbor Jeff could tell. It did hit garland but on the other side of town. Many Cities were hit and hit hard. Rowlett Texas is devastated. I know many people who lost their homes, businesses and cars. Many lost their lives.
We feel helpless here in Arkansas. We are making our way back home to see if we can help in any way. Please pray for these families and please help in any way you can. Donate to the Red Cross, give to the Salvation Army or donate food to the local animal shelters in these areas as they are caring for found animals.
