This week was a great week for me. I got to have a very special coffee break with two special ladies and my grandson. As you all know I go to the gym A LOT in doing that I have met many talented business women. Some of the ladies have started their own business and are very successful. I reached out to one of those ladies to meet up for coffee and she excepted. Her blog is called skinneymeg and it is full of truth and reality that lots of women want to hear.
Over coffee we spent some time talking about how she got started and what steps she took to be a successful business women. She is young and brilliant and I was mesmerized by what she had to say. I loved that she was willing to step out of her box and go for the life style she wanted for herself and her family. She seemed so sure and strong in her belief in her business. Meg offers clothing for the curves and not so curvy gals. She has a spirit about her that makes you want to catch what she has a run with it.

Sometimes following a dream can be at times a task. Dreams are layers and layers of work that build up to be reality after many hours, days, weeks and even years of hard work. I can truly tell you that Blue Happy Living was a dream for many years I kept tucked in my heart. My daughter was the one that opened it up and said Mom its time to move forward and share with others your home decor and your art. Scary but it was easy to take the jump after lots of prayer.
I hear so many people say I hate my job I hate my house and I hate life. This is so sad and so not necessary. I’ve said it so many times that life is so short and it is just that. I know we all can’t just leave our jobs we hate and start living our dream, but we can take steps to move towards it. The beginning is just a plan away from this moment.
